Olive Bread Olive Bread https://www.spartagourmet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/sparta-recipes_bread_700x518-logo.jpg 701 518 Sparta Gourmet Sparta Gourmet https://www.spartagourmet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/sparta-recipes_bread_700x518-logo.jpg 5 August 2019 1 October 2019 Olive Bread Cook time: 90′ Ingredients 1 cup of extra virgin olive oil 500 g all-purpose flour 8 g active dry yeast 1 glass of water 100 g Kalamon olives 80 g feta cheese 1 teaspoon sugar salt Method 1| In a large bowl mix the flour, yeast, salt, sugar, water and half of the olive oil. 2| Stir until all of the ingredients are completely combined and you create a nice dough. 3| Transfer dough to a bowl dusted with flour. 4| Cover with plastic wrap and allow the dough to rise. 5| When ready, after 10 minutes approx. dust with flour and roll out dough. 6| Add the rest of the olive oil, the grated feta and the finely chopped olives. 7| Transfer to a baking pan lined with parchment paper. 8| Preheat oven to 170◦C (338◦F) Fan. 9| Cover baking pan with kitchen towel and allow the loaf to rise. 10| Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 30-40 minutes. Serving suggestion: You can enjoy olive bread as a snack, or to accompany your salads or legumes. TIP You can use more than one type of olives, add oregano or chili peppers.
